What is an ATM Card? A
Check Card/ATM Card?
A Check Card (sometimes called a Debit Card) allows you make purchases at many businesses by using your card to authorize payment directly from your checking account. The Check Card/ATM Card also allows you to access your accounts at an ATM Machine, just like an ATM Card. For a Check Card/ATM Card you must have a checking account. You may also request one savings account which will be accessible along with the checking account when you use the card at an ATM machine. You may not use the card to make payments from the savings account.
An ATM card allows you to get account details and withdraw, transfer or deposit money at ATM machines. You cannot use it for purchases like you would a Check Card. You may request
your ATM card be tied to two accounts, (checking and/or savings).
